The project is provided under an AGPLv3 license mixed with a non-FOSS commercial license.
Many parts of the AGPL code appear to rely on the non-FOSS code.
There appear to be arbitrary limits set in the non-FOSS code, where modifications are not allowed without a commercial subscription.
The project advertises itself as open source in its homepage (5 times counted), in its GitHub description, and project readme.
These issues were queried on Reddit with response from the author, but the above issues were not addressed.
No investment information could be found for the project, but it’s clear that the project author is within the venture-capital world, with many blogposts being posted about funding on the project website, and the author being part of the “oss/acc” group. The project appears to gain revenue from providing its software as a service.
