The project is provided under a custom “Rock Community License Agreement” which most significantly limits use, modification & distribution “solely for internal use by Faith Based Organizations”.
The project refers to itself as open source in many areas, including in the project GitHub description and readme.
This was raised via GitHub but they were unwilling to change how the project was marketed, instead stating:
We believe that is the best way to describe our project to our community.
The project appears to be primarily funded from donations and sponsorships.
