The project itself is open source under an MIT license, but many of the projects & companies listed are shown as open source while not being under an open source license.
This was raised with them via GitHub, but most of the the problems raised were retained with the reasoning:
[…] I don’t really want to do this, because for many people it still super usefull to know about these tools (even if they source avalialbe VS completely open-source).
The project authors, Runa Capital, are a VC firm themselves and may have an interest in promoting many of the projects queried which they display.
